About SFC
SFC is Not Another Consultancy Recycling the Same Tired Frameworks
SFC combines cutting-edge neuroscience with real wisdom about what humans actually need to thrive, and use that to help companies design work that serves human flourishing.
Here's what really sets us apart: Our Driving Force
We are tired of conversations that assume we have to choose between human wellbeing and business success. That's a false choice created by extraction-based thinking.
SFC is driven by a simple question: What becomes possible when we design companies around human flourishing instead of human extraction?
The answer is a world where work energizes people instead of drains them. Where businesses become forces for human development alongside profit generation.
I know many people think this is an unachievable utopia. But it's actually practical, grounded in research, and already happening in companies brave enough to try.
SFC’s Grounding Pillars
Humans Are Not Machines
We are not in factories anymore, but most traditional thinking thought to leaders still use industrial-age language like "human resources" and "maximizing output" that treats people like cogs in a machine. SFC helps you shift to human-centric language and systems that celebrate people as whole humans with rich lives and brilliant potential.
What changes? Organizations become magnets for incredible talent, create work environments that genuinely energize people, and discover that leading becomes joyful when teams are excited to stay and grow together.
Adaptability as a Core Capability
Most consultants treat adaptability like a nice bonus skill, still hoping things will go "back to normal." SFC helps you build adaptability as your secret superpower that lets people and organizations flex with change, experiment boldly, and find energy in constant motion.
What becomes possible? Teams look forward to change as their chance to innovate and experiment. Companies with adaptability-focused cultures thrive and lead while others scramble to keep up.
Neuroscience-Based Leadership is Emotions First
Traditional leadership development sidelines emotions as "soft skills" and pushes logic-first approaches that ignore how our brains actually work. SFC helps leaders embrace the reality that our brains are instinctual first, emotional second, and logical third.
Why does this matter? Leaders easily create environments where people feel psychologically safe to do their best work, build healthier cultures that people love being part of, and achieve amazing results while everyone feels energized rather than burned out.
Impactful Work Can Happen Anywhere
Most leaders use in-person practices to lead virtual teams and struggle to find success. SFC helps you intentionally rethink how you manage, communicate, and structure teams to align with the unique demands of virtual work and how our brains actually function.
The outcome? Collaboration that actually flows, communication that's clear, performance that makes everyone proud, and team dynamics that feel supportive and energizing no matter where people are working.

My Story
I've been challenging conventional thinking about work and leadership for over a decade, and I'm just getting started. My journey began in psychology and neuroscience, but my awakening happened in the Amazon Rainforest in Bolivia while volunteering with an environmental conservation organization. They were making a powerful impact but struggling with the very human challenges of coordination and communication. I knew a traditional business approach wouldn't work, but a human-centered, Organization Development (OD) approach would.
Since then, I've refused to accept "that's just how we've always done it" in any form. Through my former role as General Vice President of the International Organization Development Association (IODA) and my published research in peer-reviewed journals, I'm helping guide the global business community toward more human-centered approaches. In 2023, I was recognized as one of 43 international practitioners profiled in the Handbook of 'Influencers & Pacesetters of Transformational Change & Development' in Zimbabwe. But honestly, the credentials that matter most are the results I deliver for companies brave enough to try something different. I practice what I teach through my restless energy and constant adaptation - currently based in Puerto Rico but moving to Spain next year because I crave new perspectives that force me to adapt and grow.

My Organization Development Foundation
What many people don't realize is that the human-centered approach I bring isn't new. It's been refined and tested for over seven decades through the field of Organization Development (OD).
Organization Development has been pioneering human-centered leadership and business operations since the 1950s, focusing on whole-system change that honors both human needs and organizational effectiveness. As a respected practitioner in this field, I bring decades of proven methodologies for creating workplaces that serve human flourishing. My approach at SFC uses OD's human-centered foundation to completely reimagine a future of work that no longer uses extraction-based practices.
Beyond the Consulting Work
When I am not helping leaders reimagine their approach to work, you'll find me practicing the work life balance that I champion. The things that make me flourish outside of work are:
Being in nature, either at the beach snorkeling or hiking and jumping in whatever waterfall I find
Trying to play pickleball, basketball, or whatever sport I am currently obsessed with, because I can’t seem to pick just one
Reading science fiction and fantasy books to constantly challenge myself to imagine the impossible
Pet sitting for friends (since I travel too much to have my own furry companion)

Ready to Reimagine How You Work Everyday?
If you're tired of managing people like they're machines, if you want to create work environments that actually energize your team, or if you're ready to build the adaptability your organization needs to thrive in constant change, let's talk.
When you design work to serve humans instead of exploiting them, everyone wins. And SFC is here to help you figure out exactly what that looks like in your organization.
No pressure, no sales pitch. Just an honest conversation about where you are and where you want to go.
